You'll only find it if your Council recycles plastic and gives the info to this site! Plastics recyclers are crying out for them but unless the Councils collect .... and people using plastic ask for banks it will just end up in landfill.

If you type your postcode into the recycle-mroe bank locator and search for plastics you will find your nearest plastics recycling bank

Just scroll down to the bottom of the page for the list of sites. You'll also find an interactive map. Hope this helps!

Email your local council to find out where the nearest plastic banks are. It is disappointing that one should be removed without anything to say where another is. Supermarkets may provide their own plus try leisure centres under neighbouring council

Your Council is responsible for your kerbside and household waste collections and public bring banks. The pub will have to pay for its own commercial collections.

http://www.leicestershirevillages.com/thurnby/councilservices,r.html recyclenow.com gives a government perspective. I suggest you find out who your District Councillors are and ask why the bank has been removed and where the nearest one is. In fact it would be a good idea if your village had a list of these on a noticeboard. Find out who else is interested in reducing the amount of waste! A local Friends of the Earth or other environmental group? The Leicestershire Villages site might help as there is a forum.
